Our history begins in 2005 with the name of BettMart Construction Inc. with its founder and owner Betty Martinez born in Honduras and a naturalized citizen in USA since 2003.
Betty have had other entrepreneurships back in her country, but she started working in construction as a leap of faith.
With only three employees, two ladders and two scaffoldings Bettmart was stablished, starting the journey of becoming one of the few women known for her compromise, ability of negotiation and determination in Georgia's construction. In within months of hard work and training, she started receiving job offers for houses, buildings, malls and hotels.
Even though Bettmart was on it’s way for new clients and big projects, it’s owner admits it wasn’t all so easy.
Obstacles emerged from the fact she is an hispanic women in leadership of large groups. This lead people not to recognize and pay her first two constructions. Since construction category has been mostly discriminated for women, she had to defend herself and prove to other women and men they could also create and constribute to big projects and businesses.
Still standing with support from her co-workers, fortunately she met Gerardo Morales (a mexican resident who works for a well-known american construction company) who offered BettMart some projects in Tennesee and Kentucky.
In 2020 the Company takes a fresh branding with it's name BG Mart Construction consisting of a field and administrative team who works everyday to incorporate new services and new clients.
Today, BG Mart Construction focuses on projects involving Siding, Framing, Roofing, Remodels, Repairs, Painting and Cleaning.
